A study published this summer evaluated the effect of neuromuscular training on preventing leg injury in athletes. In the study, the researchers found that neuromuscular training significantly reduced the number of leg injuries, while also providing athletes with an increase in jumping ability. The researchers suggest the most effective neuromuscular programs are performed for at least 25 minutes between 2-5 times per week, for a minimum of 9 weeks. The result could put you leaps and bounds ahead of the competition.
