The winter season brings out skiers and snowboarders to the hills, including some Olympians. But whether or not you are an Olympian, injuries can happen on the hills. In a recent review, a team of researchers looked into the frequency of injuries at previous Winter Olympics. The authors reported that certain snow sports presented the higher injury rates, such as snowboarding and freestyle skiing.
